Nominations
- Nominations are due no later than Friday, July 18th at midnight.
Businesses and employees are encouraged to nominate their own company. Business associates, customers, trade and community organizations are encouraged to nominate businesses with a location in the Eugene/Springfield area.
Nominations are allowed in multiple categories; however, a separate nomination must be submitted for each.
Businesses whose accomplishments are part of the purpose of their business or requirements of their industry are requested to demonstrate how their accomplishments go beyond their core mission.
Eligibility
- Nominations are open to any for-profit business in the Eugene/Springfield area that has been in business for at least two years.
- Former nominees DO qualify for all award categories. Former award winners DO NOT qualify for the same award category in which they won.
- Chamber membership is not required.
Selection
- A panel of judges will review nominations and select finalists and winners. Applicants will be evaluated by the information provided that demonstrated excellence in the applicable award category.
- Use of the business name should be minimized in the submission as business names will be removed from nominations to promote fairness based on application information.
To Submit a Nomination
- Please submit the necessary information and a one page Word document (as an attachment) to support why you think the nominee deserves to be recognized.
- A two page Word document is permitted for the Business of the Year award category.
Recognition
- Winners, finalists, and nominees will be acknowledged in media venues and at an awards celebration on September 24, 2008 at the Hult Center for Performing Arts.
